Terms of Service

These terms govern use of designer.digital and any services Designer Digital provides. By using the website or engaging us for project work, you agree to these terms.

Use of the website

The content on designer.digital is provided for informational purposes. You may view, print, and share content for non-commercial use. You may not republish content for commercial use without written permission.

Project engagements

Project work is governed by a separate written agreement (statement of work or contract) signed by both parties. The website does not itself constitute an offer or contract. Project pricing, deliverables, timelines, and revisions are defined in the project-specific agreement.

Intellectual property

Once a project is paid in full, the client owns the deliverables (design files, source code, content) produced specifically for them. Designer Digital retains the right to display the work in our portfolio and case studies unless explicitly waived in writing.

The Designer Digital brand, logos, and proprietary methodologies remain our property and may not be copied or reused without permission.

Warranties and limitations

We provide our services with reasonable care and skill. The website is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim related to the website or our services is limited to the fees paid for the specific engagement giving rise to the claim.

Third-party services

Our work integrates third-party services (Vercel, Cloudflare, Google, Stripe, Shopify, Sanity, etc.). Use of these services is subject to their own terms. We are not responsible for outages, pricing changes, or policy changes by third-party providers.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Alberta.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the website. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
