SEO and performance work from Designer Digital is the technical and content engineering that decides whether your website actually shows up — in Google, in Bing, and increasingly, in ChatGPT, Claude, and Perplexity searches.
Search engine optimization is everything that affects whether your site ranks for the queries your customers actually type. It's a stack: technical SEO (crawlability, structured data, performance), on-page SEO (content, headings, internal links), off-page SEO (backlinks, citations), and now LLM SEO (llms.txt, definitive content, schema density). We work all four layers.
Builder-platform sites are SEO-handicapped from day one. Their CSS and JS bundles cost you LCP score, their schema markup is generic, and their canonical / hreflang setups are limited to whatever the platform allows. Hand-coded sites have no such ceiling. Every technical SEO best practice is available because we control every byte.
Technical fixes show up in Search Console within 1–2 weeks. New content pages typically index within 2–4 weeks but ranking position takes 2–6 months depending on competition. LLM citations (ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity) can appear within weeks if the structured data is right.
LLM SEO is the practice of optimizing for citation by language models — ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini, and Google's AI Overviews. It overlaps heavily with traditional SEO (structured data, factual content, clean technical setup) but adds new surfaces: llms.txt files, FAQ-format content, and definitive comparison content that LLMs preferentially extract.
We don't run link-building campaigns. We do build internal linking architectures, set up citations in Google Business Profile and industry directories, and recommend off-page tactics — but the actual link acquisition (guest posts, PR, outreach) is something we'll either advise on or refer to a dedicated SEO partner.
