Brand Identity & Logo Design

Brand identity work from Designer Digital is what gives your business a coherent visual signature — a logo, a typographic voice, a color system, and a small library of components — that holds up across every place your business shows up.

What it is

Brand identity is the design system that defines how your business looks — the logo, the typography choices, the color palette, the photography direction, the iconography, the motion language. A good identity makes every customer touchpoint feel like the same business. A weak identity makes your website, your business cards, and your Instagram feed look like three different companies that happen to share a name.

Why hand-coded

We design brands that translate into hand-coded websites cleanly. That means typography choices that respect web font weights and licensing, logos that vector down to a 24px favicon without losing legibility, and color systems that meet WCAG AA contrast at every layer. Most identity work is designed for print first and bolted onto the web after. Ours is designed for the web from the start.

Process

  1. Audit. Where the brand currently is, what it actually communicates, and where it needs to go.
  2. Direction. Two or three distinct visual directions presented as mood boards and a single sample lockup.
  3. Refine. Pick a direction; we develop it through logo, typography, and color.
  4. Apply. Test the system on a real surface — usually the website hero — before signing off.
  5. Document. Brand guidelines + every file your team will ever need.

FAQ

Do I need a new brand identity if I just need a website?

Usually not. If your brand looks reasonable and you know what it stands for, we can build a website around it. Brand identity work makes sense when (a) the existing brand looks dated, (b) the existing logo doesn't translate to web, or (c) you're launching something new and starting from zero.

Can you redesign just the logo?

Yes — logo-only refresh is a common entry point. We typically pair it with a small set of brand-system updates (typography pick, color tightening) so the new logo lives in a coherent context rather than floating alone.

Do you trademark the logo?

No — trademark filing is a legal process you'll handle through a trademark agent or lawyer. We deliver the logo files and a written declaration that the work is original and yours.
